Project Brief

We were contacted by OCF Group during their planning phase for a new purpose-built head office in Charleville Town Centre. Numerous meetings were held with key OCF staff to understand their workflow from reception to back office and define project requirements.

The aim was to create a striking customer-facing area—reception, meeting rooms, and waiting area—followed by a functional and visually appealing back-office open-plan workspace. Cost-effectiveness was important, but the client also wanted to make a strong first impression.

Once awarded the contract, CJM conducted detailed site surveys before production and installation. Final layouts were approved and bespoke furniture areas were precisely measured, especially the uniquely angled reception desk, to ensure a perfect fit.

All wood for the furniture was sourced from a mix of used and new liquidated stock, with new panels featured on the front of the reception counter. This approach allowed CJM to deliver an unbeatable price while maintaining a professional aesthetic.

OCF Group was highly satisfied with the value and results, awarding CJM a second contract in 2018 to furnish their DNCF sub-office, including reception, meeting room, and open-plan furniture for approximately 20 staff.
